International Maritime Organization certification achieved November 3, 2009 – United Nations organization develops and manages international shipping regulations including a certification process for ship tank cleaning applications, where aquatic environmental impacts must meet strict protocols by any cleaning products used due to ocean discharges.
US Coast Guard approval for maritime cleaning, 2008, USCG enforces maritime environmental standards and regulates chemicals used that may be discharged into open waters.
Advanced BioCatalytics Receives NSF Certification - April 25, 2007, Advanced BioCatalytics Corporation received NSF International Certification for the use of its product, Accell®, as a Drinking Water Treatment Chemical. Accell® has been tested and Certified by NSF as meeting NSF/ANSI Standard 60. NSF Standard 60 Certification addresses the health effects of products in the water industry.
Advanced BioCatalytics uses ingredients that are acceptable for the use in food grade applications in accordance with FDA 21 CFR 182 and 184 GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) and/or FDA 21 CFR 178.3400.
