Water Additive Eliminates Biofilm in Water Purification and Desalinization Treatment

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advanced BioCatalytics Corporation (ABC) has received NSF International Certification for the use of its product, Accell®, as a Drinking Water Treatment Chemical. Accell® has been tested and Certified by NSF as meeting NSF/ANSI Standard 60. NSF Standard 60 Certification addresses the health effects of products in the water industry.

ABC has patents issued covering the use of Accell® to reduce and prevent biofilm fouling of cross flow membranes such as ultra, micro, and reverse osmosis filtration systems and membrane bio-reactors. These membranes are used in process water treatment, purification of drinking water and desalinization of salt water.
