Advanced BioCatalytics P-SS™ (Protein-Surfactant Synergists™) Cleaners

  • P-SS™ cleaners are safe to the user and the environment and can be used in food contact applications

  • AccellGreen™, Accell® Clean cleaners meet FDA requirements for food contact

  • Accell® Clean is certified by the International Maritime Organization and by the US Coast Guard for maritime use

  • Accell® and Accell3® are NSF approved for potable water contact, Standard 60 and can be used with membranes for the purification of drinking and process water

  • AccellGreen™ and Accell® Clean are formulated at near neutral pH for minimal corrosive qualities and operator safety

Other Cleaners
  • Alkaline degreasers have a high pH, typically above 10, which can be extremely hazardous to eyes, skin, oral tissues, fabrics and various other surfaces

  • Solvent based degreasers, such as "citric" based products have d-limonene (in the class of chemicals called terpenes), and "butyl" cleaners, such as 2-butoxyethanol and similar compounds, have been proven to be hazardous to both the user and the environment

  • Some “green” cleaners with natural ingredients maybe completely safe, but won’t clean as effectively as P-SS™ cleaners, especially with oil and grease based contaminants
